Seriously!
No really what was I thinking? This pregnancy is kicking my ass!!! There is a good and a bad to this whole thing. I think the lil ones keep me going, to keep me from thinking about how much I feel like crap. On the other hand, all I want to do sometimes is just sleep.
Since Thursday we have had kind of a busy week. Nicki’s birthday was Thursday. Tony had to work until 2pm. He didn’t get to leave until 2:30 and the I told him about a job fair going on. He didn’t have any clean “job interview” clothes on him so he had to drive all the way home (40 min drive, which sucked because the job fair was only about 5 min from his work). He came home, we all got ready and loaded the kids up. Nicki ended up hanging out with my brother, he came over to give her the birthday present. We went to the job fair, he was in and out in about 15 min, then we ran some errands. I had to get Nicki her presents. We got home and almost immediately turned around and went to dinner. We chose Chili’s and we had a great time. Tony was so tired from working so much that he crashed at 10pm. Thankfully his one day off for the week was Friday because that was his birthday. Happy Birthday Tony!
Friday was pretty relaxed for the first part of the day. Tony worked in the garage. We had a bit of a problem with my washer, we thought it had broken and was going to have to replace it but it was just a belt. We got the replacement belt and Tony spent about an hour fixing it. Now it works great. Then when Nicki got home from school, we had to run some errands. She was having a sleep over for her birthday and we had to get all the junk food. We ran to Walmart , got some candy, chips and soda. I also had to pick up a Leapster 2 game for my niece, her birthday was April 22. Ok on a real quick side note, how crazy is this……My brother and I were both born on the 23rd of the month (him in June and me in Sept) my daughter was born on April 23 and 8 yrs later his daughter was almost born on April 23. She was born 29 min before and that was only because her mother had to have a c-section. WEIRD!
Ok, anyways……After Walmart, we had to pick up both girls that were spending the night. We ordered some pizza and then at around 9:30pm I took the girls to see 17 again. It didn’t even let out until midnight. My pregnant ass was SO ready for bed.
The next day, I woke got the girls some breakfast. Since my brother wanted us to come by and have cake for his daughter’s birthday, I had to drive Tony to work (we still only have one car)
So here is how the day went, noon I drove Tony to work, it took just over an hour to get there and back. Then I took both girls home that spent the night. We then proceeded to my brother’s house which is 35 min away. By this time I had been driving for about 2 hours. We got to my brother’s house and I pretty much crashed on the couch. All the kids played, we stayed for about 3 hours.
Well we had rushed out of the house to take Tony to work and he forgot his work keys. So after my brother’s I had to drive back to Tony’s work (40 min drive) and then back home. We got home around 7:30/8. Then around midnight I had to drive back to his work to pick him up. WOW! What a day and mostly spent driving. Needless to say Sunday all I wanted to do was sleep. Which I was able to do since Nicki was home.
I really have just felt like such crap the last week or so. I can’t wait until the “morning sickness” phase is over. Only another couple months for me.
