We got a lot accomplished
WOW, yesterday was so busy. I woke in the morning to have a meeting at Curves. I am trying to decide which gym would be best for me both financially and for convenience. I came home and we all went out to the post office and Walmart. We had to mail our GPS back to the manufacturer because the files got corrupted. They are sending us a new one well maybe a refurbished one. At Walmart we needed some baby items and oil and filter so Tony could do an oil change.
Shortly after we got home my friend brought her kids over so I could babysit. She went back to work about a week ago and so I watch her kids a couple days a week. So total, including Nicki’s friend that came over after school I had 8 kids in the house.
While we were all outside Tony did the oil change and then we both washed and detailed the truck. The inside of the truck was so dirty and messy I couldn’t believe it. There was all kinds of stuff in there, empty plastic cups, wind up flashlight, work clothes, garbage….you name it we probably had it in there, I am surprised we didn’t have any industrial hand wheels in there. It was a mess and I am just happy to have it cleaned out. It has been “nice” the past couple days so we thought we would wash the car and get all the salt off of it. By “nice” I mean 52 degrees, LOL!
When we came inside between both Tony and I we made homemade chili, tortillas (so we could make breakfast burritos, yummy), bread, chocolate chip cookies w/out the chips (just the way I like them) and brownies (unfortunately they were boxed, they were on sale but incredibly delicious).
Then I had to take Nicki and her friend to the skating rink and come home, finish dinner, bath the kids and put them to bed. I passed out on the bed for about an hour before I had to go back and get Nicki at 11:30pm.
I came home and Tony and I had brownies, cookies and ice cold milk while we watched a movie. It was a great productive day. I finally fell asleep around 1am and I slept really well until 6:30am when Tony got up for work. Glad today will be relaxing. LOL!
