My weeks have been crazy busy and this last one is no exception.  It is already Sunday, where has the time gone.  Since Thursday I have been on the go.  Tony had off on Thursday and Friday and we ran a lot of errands getting all the car parts needed to fix his Subaru.  With life getting so busy we certainly need 2 cars.  Every week for the past 5 weeks or so we have had some sort of appt or errand that needed to get done.  With that, Tony has had to request specific days off and that is tough to have to keep doing every week.

So Tony worked on his car both Thursday and Friday.  He got a new tire, new caliper, new rotors and brakes.  He also got new windshield wipers, changed the oil and filters.  The car still drives a little rough so he decided to get all new tires so he ordered 3 more tires.  Overall it may cost us about $1k to get the car in good working order.  On a positive note, it will only cost us an extra $40 for 6 months in insurance and when he filled the car up last night it only cost $28.  We may end up saving a bunch of money a week in gas and also not having to put all the miles on the Explorer will be great.  He pays about $75 a week in gas for the Explorer.  I am super excited to save money and have a car to drive. 

It was kinda funny when I called the insurance company to add the Subaru to the policy.  I was totally expecting to pay a couple hundred dollars for the remaining time on the policy and when she told me the prorated amount was only $24 I LOL!  I always get insurance marketing mail for other insurance companies and with as low of a rate that we are getting with out company, we won’t be switching any time soon. 

I am so happy to have 2 cars again, we have all our bills paid current and money in savings.  2010 may really be a good year for us.

I love crafting.  I have been scrap-booking since Nicki was born.  I made her a scrapbook of her first year.  I have since had 3 more children and will be making them all a scrapbook too.  With 4 kids however, it leaves me little time to do so. 

My first desire was to make handcrafted cards and scrapbook albums and sell them on various sites.  Ebay, Etsy or my online store – artfuldelight.com but since I don’t have much time I haven’t been able to really craft.  I want to try and find ways to earn money from home.

I came up with the great idea a couple weeks ago to become a wholesaler.  In my Artfuldelight store I will sell a variety of craft items.  As soon as I get traffic to my site I should make some good money.

In order to be a wholesaler some of them require a federal tax id and some require state tax license.  I took care of all that and as I was trying to submit my info most of them requested an email sent with a copy of those licenses and info.  We have a scanner but for some reason it was giving me trouble.  I wasn’t sure if I used the scanning software to set it up or what.  We have reformatted our computer several times and thought maybe he didn’t install the printer/scanner back on the computer.  Well after some time I got it all figured out, emailed over and I was approved as a wholesaler with several well known craft sites.  I have placed several orders and should be receiving them soon.  I am so totally excited and hope to get it all up and running soon.

Where does the time go? This week flew by. Tomorrow is another weigh in. I am hoping for it to be another good week. If not I am going to have to start looking at xenadrine reviews. We are planning a trip to Illinois in June. That is just a few short months away. It has been over 6 yrs since I have been home. It has been a little longer than that since I have seen some of my extended family. It has been about 10 yrs since I saw my friend Jenni and 13-14 yrs since I have seen some of my other friends. I have had 4 kids in that time. 3 of those kids since I have seen my family. I would really like to have lost a substantial amount of weight before going to visit.
I work out 4-5 days a week and I eat in moderation. I am losing at a much slower but more effectively. Last year when I was dieting I wasn’t eating very realistic. Once I lost my weight and went back to eating the way I like to I gained it all back. This time around I am still eating the things I like but only in moderation. I am not starving myself of the foods I like. I think that is why some people fail. I have no emotional or psychological reason for eating other than I LOVE FOOD!! LOL! Let’s just hope I continue to lose so when I go home for a visit I look good. LOL!

Braces that is. LOL! We had an Ortho appt yesterday for Nicki. She got braces. We weren’t totally sure of what to expect. They told me she was going to get spacers so we thought we had at least another couple of weeks before the braces.
Well yesterday she got the braces. I am so excited for her. She has wanted these for a long time. I feel bad because they are hurting her more than she thought. I tried to prepare her, explained that her mouth was going to be sore. As well as just trying to get used the there being a bunch of metal in your mouth, cutting up the inside. Tony and I kept joking that we were going to puree her food so she can “eat” it through a straw. She wasn’t too happy with that suggestion.
Not that I would ever let her but she certainly would not need to look at any fat burner reviews. For the first couple months the braces are going to keep her from gaining any weight. No chips or candy or gum. A lot of the things she enjoys to eat she can’t have anymore.
I am however, really excited for her. So she can have a beautiful smile to go with her beautiful face.

As I sit here getting a pedicure I realize there are so few things that I do for myself. And that is ok. My kids are so much more important. Speaking of kids Nicki got her braces on today. I will go in more detail about that later.
So anyways, I dye my hair myself and other than pedicures I don’t spend other money on me for my physical needs. I can’t remember the last time I bought myself clothes. I am going to the gym and losing weight so I will need new clothes at some point. As I get older I will also need to look into the best age spot remover.   I just need to start taking care of myself better, do a little more for me.  Not to sound selfish because I do give plenty to my kids and Tony….I just need to think about myself too.  Otherwise I will age quickly and not be around for my kids and I certainly don’t want that.

I can’t say enough about how cool this phone is.  From the ringtones that sound like someone is pushing a doorbell buttonor a barking dog to the cool applications.  Most of the websites I use have an application.  Like Godaddy so I can manage my online store or ebay to manage my ebay store there is an app that I can download to have instant access. 

I use the notepad function the calendar and now that I have unlimited data plan I use the internet a lot. 

I thought I would have trouble getting used to the touch screen but frankly it was an easy transition.  It has landscape view which gives the virtual keyboard a bit more space.  I love the iPod as well.  When I have it hooked up in my car and I am listening to the music, if I get a call it mutes the music and I can have the call on the car speakers. I am sure a lot of phones do that but I don’t think my Samsung Blackjack could.

Overall I just think the phone is badass!!

I am a little late on getting this posted, it has been a busy week.  This weeks update is pretty good though.  With last week gaining a bit and just not making the right progress, Tony said I should be eating more.  Not much more only about 200 calories a day more.  So if my maintain calories for the day was 1800, instead of eating 500 less on a low calorie day I ate about 300 less.  Well either it worked or I found foods that burn fat because this week was  good one.

So overall a really good week.  I lost almost 4 pounds of fat in one week.  All with eating a little more.  I also didn’t get to work out very much due to the weather and Tony’s schedule.  This week I will be able to work out 5-6 days and I am also eating a bit more again.  Hopefully I will be just as successful this week as I was last week.
