Really it’s just another day.  Tony had to work 12-8 so we won’t be doing much.  I went to the gym this morning, got home in time to have breakfast with him before he left for work.  We don’t really buy each other gifts because if we want something we typically just get it for each other. 

I have been under going a lot of projects around the house.  When you don’t have cable you have to find other things to occupy your time.  LOL!

I started a couple weeks ago getting Nicki’s bedroom in order.  Since she moved downstairs to the “den” type room I decided I needed to make the room special.  it is kind of small.  Tony made a bed frame and I painted the walls, they are white with pink hearts.  I will take pics when it is all done.  Earlier this week I chose a theme for Lil Tony’s room, he will have a Cars the movie theme.  I started painting the blue and red and Tony and I masked off the section for the yellow and black track design.  I will paint that while the kids are napping today.  After I completely finish Lil Tony/Max and Nicki’s room I will then start on Isabel’s room.  I am leaning towards a Tinker Bell room.  I think that will be cute. 

Since we got our tax return last week I have also been getting all our bills caught up and buying things we need.  I bought a new glass tray for our microwave, I also went to buy.com and bought a wall mount for Nicki’s computer monitor. 

Today is also weigh in day.  After last week I am hoping for a good week.  Even though I only count my weight on Sunday nights I still weigh myself during the week and the numbers looked pretty good.  If they are as good as I think they will be I certainly won’t need the top diet pill.  I adjusted my eating a little this week so hopefully all goes well.  I could have had a better week but because of the weather and Tony’s work schedule I was not able to get to the gym all week.  I went today but I think that was the only day.

The snow has stopped and the sun is shining.  Right now the plows are on our street giving them a good clean up.  It has been really rough getting in and out of our street.  The winds were nuts yesterday.  It had looked like we got another foot of snow because the winds were so strong that it blew all the snow around giving the ground a good cover.

The sun is shining bright but it is still freezing outside.  Very windy.  My kids are getting cabin fever being stuck in the house.  Lil Tony keeps trying to go outside and play.  I feel bad.  He is staring out the window right now.  I can’t wait until it warms up a bit.  We will be outside everyday. 

I hope the snow melts soon!!

Oh and the pisser is because of the weather the kids are out of school all week.  Nicki will not be going back to school until next Tuesday.  She is driving me nuts!  LOL!

…..fluffy white stuff.  We were stuck in the house all weekend.  It wasn’t until about 9:30am yesterday before we got the car out of the driveway.  It took us an hour yesterday morning to shovel our way out of the driveway. 

I wanted to go to the gym and I had several things to take care of during the day so it was pretty important to get out of the driveway.  Tony was home from work all weekend too, today was his first day back. 

Rumor has it we are getting another 12 inches of snow tonight.  OMG this is just getting ridiculous now.  Nicki has been off of school since Friday.  I am not even sure she will be going back tomorrow.  I keep checking the news online and nothing has been said yet. Well I sure do hope all this white stuff melts soon!

an iPhone!  It is really awesome.  I had a Samsung Solstice for the weekend.  I wanted to try out a touch screen phone.  I liked the touch screen but the Solstice didn’t have any of the features I like or that I used with my Samsung Blackjack.  Now At&t no longer sells the Blackjack which sucks but it was time for me to get a new phone.  The only things I really used was the text messaging, the calendar and the notepad.  The Solstice’s notepad SUCKED!  I also didn’t like the calendar much.

I got the iPhone today so I have been playing around with it.  The notepad rocks and the calendar is pretty cool.  I don’t use the internet much so I wasn’t happy that I was FORCED to get a data plan.  But in order to have an iPhone you are required to get a data plan.  I am home all the time and have the internet at my finger tips.  I probably won’t use the internet much on the iPhone.  Well maybe I will actually since I do have to pay a $30 a month data plan charge. 

I like how the iPhone seems to have everything very organized.  I think the big screen is awesome.  It also has conversation text.  Not sure if you know what that is but basically each “conversation” you have with someone is grouped.  So if you are texting your brother, all the messages are grouped together, messaging your mom or friend and whatever they are all grouped together….kinda like an IM. 

I just really love the phone.  I will just need to find more things to use on the phone, the apps and itunes and such.  iPhone is the BOMB!!  LOL!

This week not so good.  Well not bad but not good like last week.  Might be TMI but I haven’t gone to the bathroom in like 4 days (ya know bowel movement, lol) and I feel real bloated.

So as you can see each of the categories didn’t change barely at all but the areas that should be going down went up and the areas that should be going up went down.  It seems odd to me though because I worked out all week.  Well I was able to workout 4 days.  And actually the 4 days were kinda skimped too because some days I went late and then I had a short workout because I had to be home so Tony could go to work. 

Overall it’s not that bad of a week, the numbers changed such a small amount.  This week coming up though we are going to try things a little different.  I am going to eat a little bit more.  On my low calorie days I was only eating about 1280 calories and my high days I was eating like 2300.  So on my low calorie days I will eat closer to 1500 and my high calorie will be closer to 2150.  Plus I will add whatever I burned in calories at the gym. 

I really think some of it does have to do with not going to the bathroom.  Let’s just hope next week is better.

The snow came, oh boy did it fall.  The snow started Friday morning around 9:30am.  It snowed ALL day, ALL night and most of yesterday.  I would have to estimate we got at least 2 feet of snow.  Most places were closed yesterday.  Tony’s store was closed.  It was a very unproductive day. 

Tony got word last night that the store was going to try and open today around noon.  His boss wanted him in at 10am to get everything all set up.  Tony didn’t even get outside to start shoveling until around 8:30 and he was out there for about an hour and a half.  Lil Tony came out to help and the snow came up to his shoulders.  LOL! 

Well he shoveled the truck out and got ready for work.  He attempted to go to work but the median/street was too packed with snow.  He got stuck trying to pull out of the driveway.  When he tried to pull back in the driveway he almost got stuck.  LOL!  So I guess he won’t be going to work today.  He has tomorrow off but I have some appts to go to so I hope they get the street plowed by then.

We all went out and ran some errands last night.  First the Food Lion that I had trouble with is closing.  They are not making any profit, there are 2 other Food Lions within 2 miles of the store that is closing.  So because they are closing they had a sale, everything in  the store was 30% off.  The only diapers I like for Lil Tony and Isabel are the Food Lion brand ones, so we went there and got 2 boxes.  Plus we got some wipes and mac n cheese. 

Then we went to Wal-Mart.  I wanted to go because my cell phone was up for renewal at a contract price and I wanted to get a new phone.  They had the Samsung Solstice for free with a 2 yr contract so I thought I would try it out.  It is all touch screen.  So far I am not having any problems.  My old phone is a Samsung Blackjack.  Now I really loved that phone but I was getting bored with it.  I use my phone mostly for text messaging and I use the notepad and calendar.  I love their notepad and calendar.  The Solstice does not have a “notepad” option anywhere close to what the Blackjack has to offer.  Pretty big bummer.  It also does not have Solitaire on it.  All of those may be the deal breaker because I like to play games on my phone and the Solstice does not have the features I like. 

The other great things we got was a new Kitchenaid Stand Mixer and an Espresso Machine.  Both were on clearance.  We got both for the price of a mixer full price.  Tony was so totally excited.  We have been making a lot of breads and tortillas and having this mixer will make things so much easier.   

Last night he made me hot chocolate with the Espresso Machine and this morning he made me a chocolate espresso.  It was really tasty.  The only other thing we need now is a new griddle.  The one we have one of the “legs” broke and so it tilts pretty bad. 

New toys are so fun!  LOL!
