That time of the year
Yeah, so I posted in December of last year that we were having problems with mice. I was so disturbed by it and I still am a little bit but I talked to my dad a couple months back and I found out he too has problems with them. Now my dad’s house is immaculate. No crumbs, no dirt, no dust, it is spotless. So when I found out he had a problem with mice I was shocked. He said he caught a couple.
Well last year I think the total was like 10 or 11. We didn’t find our first mouse until some time in December. When we finally figured out we had them it was because of the tremendous amount of mouse droppings we found behind the couch. So really those damn mice we probably running around our house for 3 months, procreating. YUCK! So maybe that is why we had so many, I dunno.
What I do know is that here we are just entering September and we have already caught 3 mice. One was rather large and 2 were a bit smaller, maybe babies. What I do know also is we caught 3 in a very short period of time, meaning they are hungry. If there are more they will be coming out soon and maybe we can catch all of them and cut down on this problem we are having. I am a bit tired of this battle already. The other thing I was thinking about the other day is I think they are “living” in our attic. I heard noises like rustling sounds the last couple months. I worry about all the stuff up there that they may be chewing through, how much of my stuff is going to be ruined. In all fairness, most of the stuff up there I haven’t touched in forever. If someone challenged me and said name stuff that is up there or we will throw it away, I bet everything up there would be in the trash. Heck I may throw most of it away when we move anyways. LOL! All I know is I am not looking forward to moving.
