Now the protectors didn’t quite fit the tablet so I have been in contact with the company to resolve the issue. FABULOUS customer service.

The other thing we are dabbling in is subscribing to items off Amazon.com.  Certain household items that we all the time I thought would be convenient to have it delivered every month or couple months as needed.

A couple of our recent subscription purchases are:

The coffee is a must.  Tony and I have a cup (or two) of joe everyday.  I don’t like when we run out and don’t have coffee, so I subscribed to have 4 canisters delivered a month.  I hope that will be enough.  LOL!

The tape is just something I gow through enough of it, sending out monthly scrapbook kits, that I think having it delivered would be a good thing.  I should always have some in the house.

And finally, the fabric softener, that is my all time favorite stuff.  LOVE IT!!!  I go through one to one and a half of those big jugs every month.  So having that delivered is also a plus.

I am going to keep searching on Amazon and see what other kinds of deals I can find.  I would like to thank my cousin for telling me about Amazon.com’s subscribe and save option.  With a family of 6 we need to save save save wherever we can. 

Are policy is up in a month, we paid in advance when we got our tax return so we have not had to pay monthly, it has been great.  I think we only pay about $330 for 6 months on 2 cars, that’s not bad compared to what we paid in Florida.   YIKES!

Sheesh with all the coffee I drink these days I certainly won’t need any herbal phentermine, this coffee has me peeing a lot and a bit of a curbed appetite.  LOL!  I don’t drink that much coffee but I will say with this tasty coffee I drink more than I used to. 

That is all I tried to do this weekend, with a little cleaning of course.  Our move is just a little over 7 days away and I feel I got a lot done but with kids and their toys all over the place it makes it hard to see the progress.

There is just stuff everywhere.  I haven’t put my craft stuff away yet either and that is a site for sore eyes.  LOL!  I have crap everywhere.  I packed a bunch of boxes and threw away a bunch of crap.  Nicki threw a bunch of junk away from in her room, I threw away a tv stand or two, a twin mattress will be going in the trash along with a night stand and two desks and some dishes.

We are trying to be able to get all of our stuff in a 24′ truck.  We have 2 4-wheelers we have to get in there too and that takes up some space.

Next week I believe it is going to be hectic.  Well, this Friday, I will be going to Nicki’s school to submit her withdraw paperwork.  Then starting Monday, we pick up the rental truck early in the morning.  Tony will be out in the garage part of the morning getting all that stuff packed in the truck first.

Hopefully he will get done well before the kids need to take a nap and then we can get all the stuff from the house in there.  When we moved in to the apartment 6 months ago, we had pretty much all of the stuff from the house in the truck by about 11 am.  We had a “Florida room” or as most people would call it a screened patio….it was filled with JUNK.  That patio took about 2-3 hours to sort though and get on the truck.  Most of it ended up in the trash but this time we don’t have all that junk piled up.

We then plan to call it an early evening, get some take out of some sort and watch a little tv and get an early nights sleep.  Tuesday morning we will get up before the sun, hopefully, load up the cribs, remaining beds and last minutes items.  Do some last minute cleaning and then get on the road.

I am hoping to be all loaded and on the road by 10am.  We will have about a 5-6 HOUR drive ahead of us.  I hate driving.  Really I do, but I will be excited to get this move over with.

We have to meet the landlord of the new house at the house at a decent time so we can get the keys.

Early Wednesday morning we will have Brighthouse come and install our internet.  We will also spend the day unloading the truck.  Thursday will be mostly getting organized and registering Nicki for school.  Friday we have DirecTV coming to hook up the satellite.  We will then have all weekend and Monday to chill and hang out until Tony has to return to work on Tuesday.  Hopefully with Tony home all week we will be able to get most of the boxes unpacked and the house somewhat organized.

Well now I am off to bath the kids and make dinner! 

What makes me feel I am getting old is when my knees crack and joints creak and crack when I move and I find myself repeating often “man I am getting old”.  LOL!

Makes me feel I am getting old when I think of Neil Patrick Harris as “Doogie Howser”  and now he is all grown with chest hair.  When my daughter asks “who is Doogie Howser”, doesn’t know Rainbow Brite, Thundercats or Punky Brewster!  Those were some great shows growing up.

But on a serious note, with age comes thoughts of death.  I mean I am not going to live forever.  I should probably think about some life insurance.  There are places where instant life insurance quotes are available, I mean lets face it, I am not getting any younger.  I am an inpatient person….I hate when I am searching for things online and I go through the trouble of filling out the forms and then at the end it says oh a representative will contact you shortly to assist you.

That happened to me the other day when I was trying to rent a truck, I couldn’t get an online quote after I filled out all this info….I ended up renting from someone else that would allow me to do everything online…..now I am having that truck rental company call me every other day leaving me messages to call if they can assist me with anything.  If they could have assisted me don’t they think I would have answered the phone.  LOL!

I went with Lil Tony and Bel, Nicki was at school, I had some juice cups and a container of cereal for Lil T to snack on.  I get there and it didn’t look busy, there was only 2 people in the waiting room and there were several car lifts available.

None-the-less, it took over an hour and a half to get 3 tires put on.  Lil Tony was really good for the first 30 min or so.  By the time an hour came, he had his hands in the vending machine, turning their TV on and off, spilling his cereal all over the floor, screaming when I won’t let him rip all the wipes out of the package and basically just trying to touch everything in the waiting room.  There was an old man in the room with me and I could clearly see he was getting annoyed.

The most annoying part of it all is the old man that came in about 30 min after me with no appt, was told his work would take about 2 hrs to do.  His car was done at the same time mine was.

All I can say is that I won’t be going to do something like that again.  LOL!

I don’t know why but I always thought it traveled straight from the warehouse. None-the-less, my package will be delivered to me tomorrow.

Presenting, the Pink Blackjack II!

My phone that I was using was a Samsung Sync. It was a good phone but it is worn. It’s been dropped in water, dropped on the ground and just all around in need of an upgrade. I wouldn’t even use my phone and by early afternoon the battery would be low. I am just so excited. Tony has one too and the other day he finally sat down and found all these great applications that can be used on the phone.

I can’t wait for Tony to get home from work to show me all the things it can do.

So as usual I got up decently early with the kids and Tony woke up shortly after me.  Nicki was already at school.

Tony was such a great boyfriend and he took the kids on a walk (he walked, they rode in the stroller, LOL!) so that way I could have some time ALL TO MYSELF.  To do what I want.    My first thought was a nap.  LOL!  I just wanted some quiet time to rest up but I was a good girl and chose my time to clean up around the house without having to worry about kids yelling at me because I wan’t paying attention to them.

I put several laundry baskets of clothes away, did about 3 loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen and living room and then took a LONG nice QUIET shower!  By that time about 2 hours had passed and Tony was home.

We then took a drive to Walmart to pick up some oil and a filter so Tony could give our truck an oil change…..it so needed it.  We came back, Tony did the oil change and then while the kids were napping I went and got a PEDICURE!  OMGoodness, it was so well deserved and needed!  It felt great!

By the time I was done with all that, it was time to get the kids up and go to the park.  Nicki went to the park over the weekend for a birthday party.  It is just such a beautiful place.  You can rent paddle boats, canoes. ride horses.  There are a bunch of different playgrounds and nature trails.  It was awesome.  Of course Lil Tony really didn’t want to even play on the playground, he just wanted to walk around and play in the dirt and climb on the picnic tables.  Overall though, I think he had a great time.  Nicki enjoyed herself too except for the few times when she pouted because Tony had to pay attention to Lil Tony and not push her on the swing.  He had just gotten done pushing her and she was upset he had to stop.

We ended the evening by going to eat at On the Border a really nice Mexican Grill.  We all ate and the kids were great.

We had a really wonderful day!  Unfortunately back to work for Tony today.

Some things such as our dishes we will get rid of and some of our furniture.  Our couches are still brand new, only about 2 years old….nice leather.  Most of our other stuff is all mis-matched anyway.

In our living room, we have a wine cabinet that we have covered with a sheet and on it has one of our computers and our projector.  It wasn’t like that before, we actually used it for its purpose but my laptop started getting slower and slower and driving me crazy so I had to bring out the desktop computer.  In order to try and keep lil Tony from playing with it, we had to put it up a little high.  So when we move, I want to be able to put my computer and projector in some sort of other set up.   Also in our bedroom our TV is on top of a mis-matched night stand that we picked up at a garage sale about a year ago.  We will be throwing that away.  Maybe we will get some tv stands for our TV and projector to sit on.  Well actually Nicki will need a small TV stand in here room and then one in our room. Then maybe get a ceiling mount for our projector.  One like this:

All I know right now is we are planning on getting rid of as much stuff as possible and will buy some nice new things when we get to our new home.
